For the past 18 years of my life

i've been living an easy-going, carefree life

not knowing the meaning of having a true relationship with others

all i did back then was getting along n blending in with society

just to get all those days over with

indeed, i have friends that can be categorized as best friends n even sister

but as the time changes it paced

so did the relationships

its fading away, so far tat i couldn't even reach it anymore

n i started to lose hopes n desires of having a real friendship

there's this certain emptyness n ache in my heart tat i couldn't explain

a teacher once told me tat

"appreaciate the friends u hv now in school"

"bçoz in the future, no matter where u'll go"

"u'll nvr find any1 as compatible with u as ur schools friends"

eversince tat, i've been wondering

wheter its true or not...

2009,July

my first year as university student

n tat exact year is the year tat give me the answer to my question

it seems tat, even a teacher can be wrong sometimes

in tat particular year, i met this bunch of people

who accept me 4 who i am

no matter how annoying n irritating n unbearable

i can be

they'll always stay by my side

4 some reasons, the empty spaces in my heart are completed by them

yes, we fight, we argue,

but yet, our friendship stood still as tough as the great wall of china

they show me the other side of the world

where in this world

real friends will always tell u the truth no matter how hurt it can be

friends who'll always struggle to survive

as they realized the fact that if they give up

there'll be someone who'll be crying over them

who'll be sad without them

n that wat makes tis friendship better by the hour

i'll nvr ever forget u guys

no matter how far we are

we'll always be the best of friends ever!!

n not forgetting myrul n DIB students

u guys r the greatest friends tat a girl like me could ever wish for
